Tia has taken a long break from modeling and for a good reason. And because of that I was really excited to shoot with my long-time friend whom I've known almost as long as I've been photographing, but still, we have never collaborated even once.
This was only my second time trying to squeeze a little studio into my living room and I think it really worked great, but I'm definitely considering buying a 35mm lens. I have 24mm and 70-200mm, but nothing between that. Because 24mm isn't the best portrait lens and it makes it hard to work with a small background, I had to use my 70-200mm. Tia isn't tall, but just look at those boots! I had to shoot her my back against the wall to barely fit her in the frame and add a bit extra background in editing.
Tia also brought her two Italian greyhounds with her and during the last couple of hours, I pretty much took photos with one of them sleeping on my lap. Best photoshoot ever!
