This was my second time shooting with Kata Kombi. I gotta admit it's really easy to shoot with dancers because they can pose and they barely need any guidance at all.
Kata suggested these Stockmann ruins as the photoshoot location and I had never even heard about this place. It's not a ruin exactly, but an unfinished castle-like villa Franz G.O.M. Stockmann began constructing in 1918. The project was eventually abandoned after the Spanish flu took his wife.
The location is nice, but all the graffiti ruins the inner walls and overall there isn't really much to look for. Still it had some nice stone walls that worked nicely as an element for the photoshoot. I also took my two swords with me to this shoot. It's been a long while since I've really practiced fencing, so this shoot gave me an opportunity to have some use for them after a while.
If I had other options I'd probably have taken something more suitable for Kata because both my feder and the longsword are from the heavier end of longswords. Fits perfectly for me, but they look huge next to Kata.
