The spooky season means one thing in the heavy music scene: Hellsinki Industrial Festival is back. This annual event brings together industrial music enthusiasts for a cutting-edge lineup featuring avant-garde acts and genre pioneers. This year’s festival was held on November 3rd and 4th, 2023, at Äaniwalli, with a pre-club on November 2nd, 2023.
I finally broke my curse of always being late from the MISERIAL ULTIMA gigs! Obviously it helped that they were not playing the first show of the night. This time I was also really happy with my photos because during previous shows either the lights or the smoke hasn't really worked for me. Overall my main villain is always the damn smoke because it's the one thing I cannot do anything about. Impossible to focus trough the dense smoke and the light doesn't really work because it eats aways the contrast. This time there was nothing stopping me from just focusing on taking good frames from their show. So if there's something that doesn't work, I have no excuses.
