The spooky season means one thing in the heavy music scene: Hellsinki Industrial Festival is back. This annual event brings together industrial music enthusiasts for a cutting-edge lineup featuring avant-garde acts and genre pioneers. This year’s festival was held on November 3rd and 4th, 2023, at Äaniwalli, with a pre-club on November 2nd, 2023.
A familiar face from Estonia was viting Helsinki. FORGOTTEN SUNRISE began with omnious pace and I completely missed the vocalist KURATINO who had been behind my back in middle of the audience during the first song of their set. He's also a familiar face for many who have visited the scene in Tallinn, Estonia as an organizer of the events like Body Machine Body Festival and Beats from the Vault. I've personally had a pleasure party at both events way back when I travelled there with DJ emanon a decade ago. Hopefully I get a chance to visit there again soon!
